Ahhh yes, Hawaii...
Tropical paradise, and a tourist haven. I loved it there, and would love to be
back once again - someday I hope to take my wife there for our overdue
honeymoon!
I was in Hawaii in 1984, so this may be old news to some of you, but for
others, I do hope it will be enjoyable reading, and nice pictures to look at.
Let's start with how I was able to go...

Hyatt Vancouver
My Mom was awarded TOP Employee of the Year (1984) at the
Hyatt Regency in
Vancouver! With this award, she was given a 17 day PAID trip for two (plane
fare, hotels, breakfast & supper) by the Vancouver Hyatt Hotel as a "thank you"
for her great service to the hotel.
Well she needed someone to accompany her and I didn't need much coxing to
volunteer!

Hyatt Waikiki Beach
We got to stay in the
Hyatt Regency
at Waikiki Beach on the 40th floor, that being the Regency Club, special
access key on the elevators and such and beautiful views. We stayed here for 10
days, then over to Maui, to the Hyatt Regency Hotel there for the other 7 days,
again top suites.
My Mom deserved it. Me? Nope. But hey, I'm not complaining! She was expecting
to have a 2nd floor broom closet for the room. But when we arrived, and was
given the top suites...she was ecstatic. Me, I wanted to check out the babes, 2nd
floor or 40th didn't matter. Ha!
Note: I scanned these pictures with low resolution and made them into .jpg's
for faster loading, but unfortunately you loose some of the depth. The water and
the colours were beautiful! Sorry!
I will have more pictures, and descriptions when I have more time (like
staying 16hrs a day on the net isn't enough - plus *I* do have a life), so for
now, these are just a few of the pictures I have for you!
